The first thing that comes to mind when you say, California particularly, when you’re talking about LA is Hollywood! Yes, one of the most iconic locations that showcases the walk of fame and statutes that literally brings you back to life on a very tired day (Yay, Pun).

The first place I visited after landing in LA was the walk of fame. It completely left me star-struck and I was in fan-girl mode over seeing all the stars, and of course by stars I mean the engraved ones. It was like attending a gala, the people in costumes, ever-enthusiastic and approachable, making the days of little kids who’ve always wanted to meet Superman, Batman, Darth Vader, Michael Jackson, and anyone else you could think of you’d definitely find them there. I went crazy when I got pictures near the engravings of Meryl Streep, Hugh Jackman, Audrey Hepburn, and Stephen Hawking.

The whole street gives you the feel of a movie set where you have Ripley’s Believe It Or Not on one end, and Ghirardelli on the other. I can’t forget to mention the famous Madam Tussauds Museum, showcasing wax statues of some of the most iconic people in the field of cinema. When I walked into the museum I was mesmerized by how life-like they were. I would suggest going to the museum after 7:30 p.m., because tickets can be purchased at a much lower price, at least that’s the case on weekdays.

So everyone go and visit, it’s been just a month since I’ve landed and I’ve already been there three times, there’s so much to see and so many things to experience. Do add it to your list of places to visit and I promise you’ll love it.
