On Wednesday night, my friend and I were fortunate enough to attend the LA Premiere of The Night Before, the newest bromance comedy starring Seth Rogen, Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Anthony Mackie. Although we RSVP’d for this event about a month ago, we still had to wait in a long line to get our tickets; however, it was all worth it because we received a lot of free goodies! In addition to $65 ugly Christmas sweaters from Tipsy Elves, we also got sunglasses, reindeer antlers, glow-in-the-dark sticks, and other little trinkets.
After getting geared up, a few hundred of us (USC students) were bussed to The Theatre at the Ace Hotel to see the celebrities walk the red carpet. We got to fangirl over the three stars of this film, as well as James Marsden, James Franco, Lizzy Caplan (Janis Ian from Mean Girls!), LL Cool J, Randall Park, Aaron Hill, Michael Shannon, and more. Although it was very fun seeing all of these famous actors and actresses, it was also very tiring after two hours of waiting around and pretending to be excited for the cameras. The movie itself was pretty entertaining and captured the holiday spirit. I wouldn’t mind adding this one to my collection of winter movies.
