He serves on the national DBIA Federal Markets and Legislative Committees and teaches on private equity in the construction and engineering sectors at NASBP William Angel School of Surety. Research Summary

His focus examines how federal procurement structures and alternative delivery methods (including design‑build, progressive design‑build, and CM/GC) shape contractor performance, financial stability, and project outcomes across major civil and federal infrastructure markets. He studies how capital structures, particularly private‑equity ownership, influence bonding capacity, risk tolerance, and long‑term enterprise resilience for construction and engineering firms. A growing area of his professional work/interests explores how ADMs accelerate or inhibit technology adoption, affecting digital integration, risk‑management practices, and innovation across the built environment.
