Friday, November 7th, 2025 - Registration Now Open!

📍 University of Southern California

Preview Day is the Viterbi School’s annual visitation day for students interested in pursuing a Master’s or PhD at one of the top ranked graduate engineering institutions in the nation. Attendees will:

  • Meet with engineering faculty, staff and current students
  • Learn more about our graduate programs in engineering & computer science
  • Tour campus and labs

Attendee Criteria

  • Have earned / will earn at least a Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, math, or hard science (such as physics, chemistry or biology)
  • Not a current/past USC student
  • Undergraduate GPA of 3.0 or higher - Recommended

Travel Grants

  • We have a limited number of travel grants available to help subsidize the cost of travel to Los Angeles. Please find eligibility requirements and application here.

Important Notes

  • Currently enrolled USC students should contact us for more information about graduate programs. This event is designed specifically for students who are not currently enrolled at USC.
  • Some MS programs do not require a background in engineering. Please check the application criteria before registering for Preview Day.
  • This event takes place on campus. There is no virtual component.

9:00am: Check-in, Breakfast & Ice-breaker Activity 
9:30am: Graduate Programs Welcome
10:00am: Department Breakout Sessions & Lab Tours
11:30am: Lunch
12:30pm: Graduate Admissions Info Session
12:30pm: DEN@Viterbi Q&A Session & Tour
This session will include a brief introduction to our online delivery method, DEN@Viterbi. A behind-scenes tour of our DEN@Viterbi classrooms and support services will follow the Q&A.
1:30pm: Alumni Panel
2:00pm: From Admission to Alumni: Navigating Viterbi (Mixer)
3:00pm: Campus Tour
4:00pm: USC Trojan Spirit Activities (optional)
