Pre-game brunch in downtown LA!
MY FAVORITE WEEK OF THE YEAR! Almost all of my best friends from undergrad came back to Los Angeles for homecoming this month. Coming from San Francisco, Austin, and St. Louis, we were all reunited to hang out with each other and support our team in beating the Wildcats. Everybody, including the locals, stayed over at my apartment (9 in total!!) and we had an amazing time hanging out in downtown and watching the game together. Two of them had birthdays within that same week so we had the opportunity to celebrate with lots of fried chicken, tacos, and a candle-topped pizza.

A majority of us were in the USC Trojan Marching Band, so we got to play on the field of the Coliseum after the game with the current students. Most of us hadn’t touched our trumpets since last year, but we still managed to remember our music and cheesy dance moves. It’s incredible how some of that stuff is still ingrained in my head. Although it was a bit hectic hosting everyone in one studio, it was so fun seeing the entire group together again. Hopefully I’ll get a chance to visit everyone in the next year!
