Education

  • Doctoral Degree, Chemical Engineering, Technical University of Denmark
  • Master's Degree, Chemical Engineering, Technical University of Denmark

Biography

Ph.D. Chemical Engineering, Technical University of Denmark, 2000
M.S. Chemical Engineering, Technical University of Denmark, 1996
B.S. Chemical Engineering, Danish Engineering Academy, 1994

My research activities combine modeling, simulation and experimental work to explain and understand the fundamentals of multiphase multicomponent flow, sorption and mass transfer in porous materials. My goal is to advance the fundamental knowledge of these complex processes in the context of unconventional resources, CCUS, and hydrogen storage in geological formations.

Research Summary

* Flow and transport in porous media
* Phase behavior and transport properties of non-ideal mixtures
* CO2 sequestration in the subsurface
* Geological hydrogen generation and storage
