The Preview Day 2025 travel grant application is now CLOSED. Any applications submitted after October 13th will not be reviewed.
- Prospective Master's students traveling from within the US, Mexico, and Canada are eligible to apply.
- Note: Prospective PhD students are encouraged to attend Preview Day, but travel grants are reserved for Master’s-level applicants. Admitted PhD students will receive travel grant opportunities to attend an admitted student event in the spring.
- Deadline: Monday, October 13th at 11:59pm Pacific Time (Officially closed)
- Decision Date: Friday, October 17th. Travel grant awardees will be notified via email if selected to receive an award.
- You must also be registered for the Preview Day event (Event registration and the travel grant application, below, are two separate forms).
- Awardees are required to attend the event in its entirety.
- Note: The travel grant is intended to be an award to help subsidize the cost of travel to Los Angeles for the event; it may not necessarily cover the full cost of your travel.
- Awardees are responsible for booking travel and accommodations in order to attend the event.
- Awards will be issued in the form of a reimbursement following the event. Please note that the reimbursement is not immediate; it can take several weeks to process.
- Awardees are required to submit the proper reimbursement materials after the event (Instructions & deadline to awardees).
- Applicants are eligible for a travel grant for one USC Viterbi event only; if you have already received one for another event, please do not apply.
