A former NASA JPL propulsion engineer and current founder and CEO of Hydroplane Ltd. , she has led the development of next-generation propulsion systems for spacecraft and aircraft. Her career demonstrates the role of engineering in advancing dual-use technologies that strengthen both space systems and terrestrial energy resilience through innovation.

Bria Jamison is helping shape the future of water sustainability across both public policy and critical infrastructure. As a AAAS Science & Technology Policy Fellow at the U.S. Department of Energy, she supported federal R&D efforts to advance resilient, efficient, and equitable water-energy technologies. She now brings that same systems-level perspective to industry as a Water Treatment Engineer at Amazon Web Services, supporting AWS' data center fleet globally.
