Zaki is advised by Dr. Paul K. Newton in the Department of Aerospace & Mechanical engineering (AME). He is also pursuing a master's degree in the Department of Computer Science. Aside from doing research work in AME and collaborating with the Kuhn Labratory, he can be found either in the Lyon Center, Cromwell Track, or practicing with the USC Taekwondo Club.
