Dodger’s Baseball Game

May 19, 2016

My roommates and I went to our first Dodgers game at Dodger Stadium last week. It was fun and relaxing – a great way to kick off the summer!

The LA Dodgers were playing the New York Mets. We sat in the field seats just beyond first base so we had a clear view of the game. When we entered, we started off on the seventh floor of the stadium, which gave us a sense of how big this stadium really was. 40,000 attendees were at the game that day.

The best part was the ninth inning, when the Dodgers almost caught up to the Mets with a run, bringing the score to 4-3. It looked like the start of a great comeback at the end of the game, but with two outs and two people on the bases (as far as I understand), they got another out and the game sadly came to an end. However, it was still worth it!

Some of the perks of going:

  • FREE Dave Roberts Bobblehead
  • Eating Nachos out of a souvenir Dodgers Helmet (plastic of course)
  • Trying to catch foul balls
  • Being outdoors
  • Seeing an iconic team play in an iconic stadium
