It was a Friday night and the weather wasn’t very pleasant with the rain pouring down and numerous puddles. Not the best day to go out. So, we decided to have a fun night at home by playing games! Who doesn’t love card games?

We played a game called “Cards Against Humanity” and oh my, it sure does justice to its name. It’s also called a party game for horrible people but it is hilarious. 😛 It contains a pile of black and white cards and each player is dealt five white cards. Every player draws a black card on their turn and reads it out aloud. The black card contains a sentence with a blank to fill. Then the other players choose the best option from their set of white cards to fill in the blank. The cards are shuffled and the one who drew the black card selects the funniest card from the white ones put down. The one whose card is selected as the finniest gets a point. It has very strange questions too but you must play a card no matter how rude, mean or silly it seems. That’s the point of the game. But it is a lot of fun, especially when you have many people playing it.

Our games night would be incomplete without our favorite, Monopoly Deal. I am sure everyone has played the board game, Monopoly at some point in their lives. Though it ends up in a lot of fights it still is one of the best board games ever! It has a cards version to it too called Monopoly Deal. If you don’t want to end up playing just a single game of Monopoly for hours you can always play its equivalent card game because each game doesn’t take a long time and is equally enjoyable.

It was a great idea to stay back at home and play games instead. A fun and entertaining evening after a week of hard work at school!
