Fun Night at The Spare Room

Set up in the heart of Los Angeles, along the Hollywood Walk of Fame, is the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel that houses one of the most elegant and fun lounges, the Spare Room.

The Spare Room is a gaming parlor and a cocktail lounge, which is perfect for a fun night after a long week. You need to reserve it a few days in advance if you are looking to get a table on a weekend.

They serve a few snacks and the cocktails are a little pricey but it has a very relaxed ambience. And hey, you are allowed to splurge once in a while. They have bowling lanes too but it is only for those who are willing to spend $100 on one lane for one hour for a maximum of six people. We were happy with the other games that they had and we could play them for free. You just go see the games hostess and ask her to bring you any game on the menu. While Monopoly was occupied by another table, we played Jenga – an incredible game to play when there are many of you. Finally, we did get a chance to play Monopoly and oh my, it was a hell lot of fun! We also ended up playing a few card games while singing and swaying to the music.

The vintage feel of the hotel makes the experience even more beautiful. This was one of the most fun outings I have had in LA.

Definitely, a Friday night with a vintage touch.
