Last Friday, I and my friends celebrated St. Patrick’s day for the first time. One of the student campus cruiser drivers suggested to me that I should definitely go check out the St. Patrick’s day street festival that happens in Downtown. So I pulled along my friends to be part of this. It was a really cool experience. As we entered the street after the security check we were greeted by people with cheers. The whole place had such good vibes. Everyone was socializing with each other. People who recognised the song the DJ was playing started to sing along with the music. We took tons of pictures with the mascot. There was this giant blackboard where we wrote messages.

Then for lunch we went to this restaurant called Tomgeorge and we had pizza for lunch. The service was great but the pizza did not taste good. However, the place looked really fancy.

Then we went back in and this time the music was louder and people started dancing. We were all pulled onto the dance floor and we started dancing along with them. It was so fun and it was a much-needed break for me from all the studying I was doing during the spring break. I can’t wait to go back to next year’s celebration.
