The MS in Electrical and Computer Engineering (Wireless Networks) is a unique interdisciplinary degree program that prepares graduates for the design and improvement of future wireless networks such as the “Internet of Things.” The program combines courses related to radio hardware, transmission techniques, the medium-access control layer, networking, applications, and standards.
International Students: This program is eligible for the OPT STEM extension.

- Thesis option and Directed Research (research without thesis) may be requested after completing first semester. Thesis option is not guaranteed

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
Applicants to the master's of science programs in Electrical and Computer Engineering are required to have a bachelor’s degree or be in the process of completing a bachelor's degree. Degrees in any engineering or engineering-related disciplines are frequently represented among our program applicants, including but not limited to the following:
- Computer Science
- Electrical Engineering
- Electronics
- Math
- Physics
Applicants without a Bachelor’s degree in the preferred majors listed above will only be considered with coursework and demonstrated proficiency in the acceptable courses listed below (or equivalent).
