Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) have made an impact on all areas of science and engineering. Within Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering alone, they have profoundly changed the way manufacturing, robotics and computational modeling of systems complex systems is performed. AI and ML techniques are now routinely adopted in companies and laboratories that recruit many of our graduates; e.g., Boeing, Tesla, Northrup Grumman, and the Jet Propulsion Laboratory.
The MSME - Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning program is designed to help meet the growing need for Aerospace and Mechanical Engineers who have a strong understanding of AI and ML, and how they can be applied in Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering.
Upon completion of this program, students will have a sound understanding of:
- The basic principles and concepts of AI and ML.
- How AI and ML can be applied to areas like robotics, manufacturing, dynamics, control, and computational modeling of complex system
- This program requires completion of 28 units of coursework
