Who is it for?
The Master of Science programs in Construction Engineering and Advanced Design & Construction Technology are for individuals with an undergraduate degree in engineering or hard science. The Master of Construction Management is geared for professionals with diverse academic backgrounds.
Drew Poulter "I chose to enhance my technical knowledge and to have the opportunity to work on far-reaching projects around the world. I am grateful for my experience at USC, one that, in my opinion, is second to none. I was employed by a large engineering firm for years, however, new opportunities opened up after a classmate encouraged me to explore the job market and subsequently, I accepted a position with Turner Construction, one of the largest international construction firms. The network within USC builds students' confidence and evolves their academic and emotional growth."
Master of Construction Management
Duaij AlSabah "This is not your conventional program that educates you about the standard practices in the construction industry. Instead, it emphasizes the limitations and highlights the fragmentation of the industry. The classes expose you to the emerging disruptions through interactive processes and real-life simulations. One of my classes brings 2-3 guest speakers every class who are CEOs and founders of their own company. For anyone considering this program, I would say go for it because it has been one of my best decisions. You’ll leave with a growing hunger to play a role greater than yourself, one that you didn’t think you were capable of, and ultimately become an agent of change the industry needs today."
