For the past two months, the Viterbi Graduate Student Association Executive Board and I have been working hard to put together our first signature event of the year! The 2nd Annual Viterbi Alumni & Student Mixer is taking place THIS SATURDAY from 1-5pm on the Engineering Quad and rooms in Kaprielian Hall. For the first hour, returning alumni will have lunch with the VGSA senate and the deans, and students will come to mix starting at 2pm. Panels that are department-specific will be led by a few senators from 3-4pm in KAP, and additional campus resources, such as the USC Career Center and Viterbi Career Connections, will be there to share their services at 4!
Currently, we have ~40 confirmed alumni attendees and over 775 student RSVPs – I expect about 350 to actually show up. I’ve been making the official program the last two nights (Go Powerpoint!), and we’ll be sending that out to everyone who has filled out this formtonight! Looking forward to seeing you there J
